Erika L. Wachter
Bio
Erika Wachter is currently a host and reporter for the NHL and MLB Networks, as well as SNY. She previously hosted the New Jersey Devils on MSG Networks.
Before her current roles, Erika was a sports and news reporter and host for FOX 5 New York, where she won a New York Emmy award in 2018 for Health/Science: Program/Special. She has also held on-air positions at various local stations, including NESN in Boston and CPTV in Connecticut. From 2014 to 2015, Erika served as the sports reporter for the University of Connecticut, covering the Huskies' football, men's hockey, and men's and women's basketball teams.
Her career began as a production assistant at ESPN. Erika graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University's prestigious Newhouse School of Communications, earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism with double minors in Marketing Management and Psychology.
