Kamryn Blackwood
Bio
Kamryn Blackwood is a seasoned sports broadcaster, host, and former professional athlete with a growing national profile in the world of pickleball and beyond. Originally from Farmington, New Mexico, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, where she competed on a tennis scholarship for four years.
Following her collegiate career, she was crowned Miss New Mexico USA in 2014. She then went on and transitioned into professional sports, competing as a professional pickleball player from 2021 to 2023. Her deep knowledge of the sport and dynamic on-camera presence quickly led to a successful career in broadcasting. Kamryn currently serves as the lead desk host for PickleballTV, a part of the Tennis Channel, and has worked extensively as a sideline reporter, analyst, and host for the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), Major League Pickleball (MLP), and the United States Pickleball Association (USPA). Her broadcast work has appeared on major national networks including Tennis Channel, ESPN2, CBS, and FS1.
In addition to live sports coverage, she has hosted a variety of high-profile campaigns and events, including the Celebrity Pickleball Invitational “Pickle for a Purpose” with Colton Underwood in 2023, Walmart’s “Break the Love” campaign in 2024, and the 2024 NIL Summit, where she served as co-host. Her experience as both a former pro athlete and seasoned on-air talent allows her to bring authenticity, insight, and professionalism to every project she leads.
