Dorian Craft
Bio
Dorian Craft is a seasoned sports broadcaster with more than a decade of experience as a play-by-play announcer, anchor, reporter, host, and analyst. She began her career in 2013 as a sports reporter at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, MD, before moving on to roles at WLEX-TV (Lexington, KY), KTHV-TV (Little Rock, AR), and BCSN (Toledo, OH), where she served as Sports Director.
A 2007 ACC softball champion at Virginia Tech, Dorian entered live game broadcasting in 2016 as a softball analyst and began calling play-by-play in 2019. She became a full-time play-by-play announcer in 2022 and now calls men’s and women’s basketball, softball, and volleyball for multiple universities, as well as tennis and beach volleyball. In January 2025, she was named the lead play-by-play voice for the Association of Pickleball Players (APP).
Her national broadcast work includes women’s basketball on the ACC Network and ESPNU, and pro pickleball on ESPN, CBS Sports Network, and FS1. During the 2024-2025 athletic year, Dorian called the American volleyball tournament, the OVC women’s basketball tournament, the Southland women’s tournament, and the inaugural Big 12 beach volleyball championship. She also served as the lead voice for the 2024 USA Pickleball Nationals on QVC in November.
Dorian was part of the first all-female broadcast duo at the University of Arkansas and is the first woman to call men’s athletics at both Little Rock and the University of Central Arkansas. She has also covered multiple Kentucky Derbies and served as an analyst for several Sun Belt softball tournaments and the 2022 WNIT Great Eight.
She holds a B.A. in Communication from Virginia Tech and a Master of Professional Studies from George Washington University.
