Aly Trost Martin
Bio
Aly Trost Martin is a dynamic host and play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports, appearing regularly on the Golazo Network’s flagship studio shows—including Morning Footy, Matchday, and Scoreline—and calling national NWSL matches on CBS Sports Network.
A graduate of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, Trost Martin launched her career at Sports Radio 810 WHB in Kansas City, covering pro and college sports, including two Super Bowl runs with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Between 2021 and 2023, she was a leading voice for Sporting Kansas City and the Kansas City Current, serving as a play-by-play announcer, host, sideline reporter and in-stadium/event emcee. Her work across the soccer landscape includes contributions to Major League Soccer’s digital platforms, USL, U.S. Soccer, and the SheBelieves Cup.
Additionally, Trost Martin has featured as a host & reporter for the Big 12 Network's men's & women's college basketball coverage & Invicta FC.
Trost Martin's love for sports, especially soccer, is shaped by her upbringing in St. Louis, MO and the influence of her great uncle, National Soccer Hall of Famer Al Trost. That connection and legacy continues to fuel her purpose & passion on air.
Now based in New York City, Trost Martin balances her love of presenting & storytelling with time spent traveling, painting, practicing yoga, and watching (more) soccer with her husband, Tom.
